The township also includes a man-made lake, council parks and gardens, all of which are nearby. There’s even a Woolworths across the road, so stocking up is easy. There is nothing remote about Burleigh Heads. But if you do enjoy shopping fresh (think organic fruit and veges) and you’re staying over the weekend, then the Farmers Market is hosted by the Burleigh Public School on each Saturday (early til about 1pm).
