Burleigh Heads is a quiet destination. One of the Gold Coasts best kept secrets. The surfing is great north of the headlands and so is the swimming on Burleigh Heads Beach.
Our beachfront Burleigh Heads accommodation has some stunning ocean views and the beautiful beach is right across the road. Choose from our fully self contained one or two bedroom apartments, all apartments have their own laundry facilities (washer and dryer) and fully-equipped kitchens. There’s also Foxtel, free and fast wi-fi, and secure on premise parking. You’ll love the resort facilities too with our indoor and outdoor swimming pools and indoor spa pools. As always we have a superb undercover outdoor dining and BBQ area, and for any tennis enthusiasts, not one but two full-sized tennis courts.
Burleigh Heads is wonderfully relaxing and accessible part of the Gold Coast with Burleigh Head National Park a ten minute walk away. The wild, natural headland is dotted with walking tracks along the rocky foreshore and through rainforest. The Tumgun Lookout at the top is a great place to spot the migrating Humpback whales in spring, and sea-eagles soaring along the coast. Burleigh Heads is where ancient volcanic columns meets the sea. The park includes a diverse range of habitats; rainforest, eucalypt forest, pandanus groves, tussock grassland, coastal heath and mangroves. On the north side, the surfing point breaks are legendary.
Further around the rocky headland is Tallebudgera Creek, a freshwater playground that is a firm favourite for locals and visitors alike. It’s also hugely popular among SUP boarders. For anyone who has never tried stand up paddle boarding there is an operator hiring SUP boards and paddles on the banks of the creek. It’s the most fun you can have trying to stand upright on a body of water.
